Community Use of EPS
Our Primary School sits at the heart of the Earlston community, serving not only as a place of learning but also as a shared space where people come together. As ‘Community’ is one of our four core school values, we are proud to make our building and facilities available to support local groups, families, and organisations.
We believe that our school should be a welcoming and active hub for the community — a place that encourages connection, collaboration, and lifelong learning.

Community Library
The Earlston Community Library, managed by Live Borders, is a shared resource for both the school and the wider community. It contains a wide selection of books and, in the near future, will also offer access to digital and technological resources. The library is currently open to the public on Friday afternoons, 2–5pm, and is managed by a Live Borders employee. In the longer term, a self-booking and self-service system will be introduced, allowing members of the public to borrow and return books throughout the week. |

Community Room
Our Community Room is a dedicated meeting space available for local groups and organisations to book. It features a conference table, large screen, and access to an ‘Owl’ video conferencing system to support hybrid or virtual meetings. This room provides a professional and accessible space for community collaboration, training sessions, and group discussions. |
