This week in class we have been writing poems about different emotions. We then typed them up and had to send them in an email. You can see a few of them below.
On Thursday we learned about poems. Paige
WE have been learning about money. Jessica We have been learning how to email. Josh Mr Brown helped us to get on the email and send them out. Ben Emailing was hard. Laia We were trying to make a video of our poems but that didn't work out. William WE have been talking about our friends and been writing about who our friends are and why- nice and that. Cameron C We did acrostic poems of other people. Ava WE have read some more Tom's sausage Lion. Shae WE have been doing athletics in PE. WE enjoyed doing the poems. Kirsty In money work we did change. Rebecca In art this week we were learning to draw with oil pastilles. Gareth There was a whole school competition to design a poster for Hunter's demolition earlier this year (see http://www.bordertelegraph.com/news/roundup/articles/2014/04/21/495117-earlston-pupils-have-a-smashing-time/ ) This Friday, William received his prize- a shot in the digger. On wedensday mrs anderson came in to teach us.First we did art and in art we were making spring trees and we were just finishing the blossom. We were using the end of a paintbrush to do this with green, red, pink and white paint. In maths we were doing maths stations. We were learning our ten times tables, we were measuring lenght and were chucking toy cars and toy balls and seeing how far they would go with metre sticks. Seth and Kirsty
In music different people were dancing. We sang songs like Miss Mary Mac and Everybody feel the force. |
