We have been learning about the hhhbody and how it works. We have been focusing on the circulatory system. The circulatory system is made up of blood vessels, the heart and the blood. It works by the oxygenated blood being pumped around the body by the heart. We have leaned a lot and have made a display about it. We have been writing about it, drawing about it and talking about it. We have also learned about the organs and how they work.
by Nirup In P6 we have been learning about the righs of all children. "Rights" are the things that every child should have or be able to do. We have learnt that as you grow, you have more responsibility to make choices and exercise your rights. We learnt about different rights. Here are some examples: every child has the right to live, all children have the right to meet, make friends with, and join clubs with other children, children under the age of 16 years should take not take a direct part in any conflict, children who have suffered in any way have a right to get help in a safe place, to help them recover and families who live in different countries have the right to get back together and live in the same place. Only two countries, Somalia and the United States , are not singed up to the rights. Brogan, Amy and Niamh

micael and cammyve been learning In maths primary 6 have been learning about angles. These are the diffrent types of angles we have learned about, reflex, acute, obtuse, straight and a right angle. We made paper angles so we can change there size and angle. We learnt about how many degrees there is in an angle, reflex= 180-360 degrees acute= less than 90 degrees obtuse= 90-180 degrees straight= 180 degrees right= 90 degrees To do this we have been messuring these angles with a protractor. We have really enjoyed this topic in maths and hope to do it again. Here are some photos, taken by Robbie and Ryan H., of the fantastic model power stations that Primary 6 made for homework! Well done everyone! Mr Hunt.
