the rights of the child

In P6 we have been learning about the righs of all children. "Rights" are the things that every child should have or be able to do. We have learnt that as you grow,you have more responsibility to make choices and exercise your rights. We learnt about different rights. Here are some examples: every child has the right to live, all children have the right to meet, make friends with, and join clubs with other children, children under the age of 16 years should take not take a direct part in any conflict, children who have suffered in any way have a right to get help in a safe place, to help them recover and families who live in different countries have the right to get back together and live in the same place. Only two countries, Somalia and the United States , are not singed up to the rights. Brogan, Amy and Niamh
